Like all combos, the MM-25 can be divided into three main sections: pre-amp, amp and loudspeaker. The pre-amp section, with two inputs positioned to the left of the unit’s front panel.
 The pre-amp section has a Line Output for side-step the need for miking-up when recording.
The amplifier is having an output of 25 watts rms, 50 watts peak. The amp drives a single full-range speaker of 12cm diameter, of 4 ohms.
A bass-reflex vent is located at the top of the unit giving the MM-25 solid, clean and undistorted sound. Korg out-performed many combos of twice or three times its size.
 Korg have provided two headphone sockets (32 ohms), with the one cancelling the output completely. 

No reverb or chorus unit is provided. The unit is 5kg, with a built-in foldaway handle.
 The MM-25 is still an impressive piece of hardware.
